FAQs
Our FAQ section covers everything from Jarvis's current capabilities and future AI developments to its integration with brokerage apps and suitability for traders of all levels. If you have any questions, feel free to explore further or reach out to our support team. Let's simplify trading together with Jarvis!
Jarvis was made to keep trading simple. Long/Short tags reveal exact high-probability entries, taking the complexity out of knowing when to trade.
Yes, and that’s the point of trading signals. Less homework, with faster results
Some of the high-impact variables we’ve identified are trading volume (low volume can indicate lower probability on alerts) and position in relation to VWAP.
While you can master algorithmic trading much faster than traditional trading strategies, every algorithm has nuances that should be learned to achieve reliable trades
Emerging AI technology is hard to track and verify. Algorithmic signals are different than AI because they have predetermined limits based on historical and live data.
AI-generated signals will mean that signals are determined with fluid intuition, and we simply haven’t seen tools that perform that function yet.
The LLMs that underwrite today’s AI systems are more algorithmic than advertised, and traders should be cautious of algo-trading services masquerading as AI.
No, it’s a sign for you to follow; it leaves you in control to trigger the trade yourself.
Backtesting doesn’t have to be complicated, especially with algo tools like Jarvis. Trade tags are locked into the history of tickers, so once you’ve identified your formula (say: enter Long tags, above VWAP, after 10 am, with a 10% stop loss), you can scroll through past charts and determine if that strategy would be profitable on existing tags.
*Backtesting always performs differently from live trading, but it’s a valuable method of determining if your strategy can perform in a vacuum.
Depends on the algo—they’re not all built to the same standards.
The most important feature an algorithm can have is real-time accuracy. If it’s lagging by more than a few milliseconds, traders will experience frustration and false signals.
Be sure to research and backtest algo signals before putting real money behind it.
Absolutely. As a beginner, signals fill gaps in your understanding. You’ll comprehend more of the algorithm’s reasoning as you use it while developing broader trading awareness.
Jarvis makes trading simpler than any trading indicator you’ve ever used. We wanted to provide an escape hatch for traders who were stuck on a multi-screen setup, watching hours of YouTube gurus on the weekends. One screen. One signal. Keep trading simple.
The AI label is applied far too generously these days, so be cautious about products that promise AI but only provide computing.
Currently, no AI models are anywhere near the real-time trading data processed by Jarvis, and as day traders know, any lag in the feed can take a bite out of profits or even render a day trading strategy inert.
The Jarvis R&D team is actively at work to provide true AI-assisted trading to our users as soon as possible.
False signals (also known as trading traps) happen with every trading indicator. The market is ingeniously built to be hard to predict, but some strategies are more resistant to traps than others.
One of Jarvis’ strengths is producing a limited number of possible trade entries within a day, thereby dramatically reducing moments that tempt a fake-out entry.

The indicators above include day trading indicators for beginners to learn early, such as VWAP and RSI.
These help inform smart trade decisions and will help you establish a baseline to understand the market better, as well as increase your ability to participate in more sophisticated trading conversations with peers in places like the Jarvis Discord.
Bollinger Band truthers will watch for quick mean-reversion moves when price tags the outer band and then snaps back toward the middle, often pairing this with confirmation from RSI, VWAP, or volume spikes.
Others use band squeezes to anticipate volatility breakouts, scalping the first strong push out of consolidation. Our experience with Bollinger Bands has shown them to be a trademark strategy of the overcomplicated trader. Because they rely on other indicators used in tandem and require subjective knob tuning (even on live trades), this method feels like sitting in a fighter pilot cockpit with no training. It’s information overload in a high-stakes environment.
Unlike Bollinger Bands, which are reactive, Jarvis setups are predictive, providing traders with more insight into what is most probable to happen next, rather than simply what has happened up to now.
a. Our minimum recommendation for using Jarvis is to have at least $1,000 in your starting brokerage account.
b. Jarvis recommends trading from an individual cash account with no margin. This will ensure your account is not restricted by the FINRA-imposed minimum balance of $25,000, allowing you to execute unlimited day trades with any account balance. Check your brokerage account settings as certain accounts like Robinhood open as a margin account by default but can be changed in your user settings.
c. Keep investments small when training on Jarvis. Even experienced traders should not risk more than 10-15% of your account balance on any trade.
d. Regardless of your account balance, never risk your whole account on one trade.
e. Always use a stop loss to mitigate losses and insulate against unpredictable news-based market swings.
f. Always set a daily goal at the start of the day, prior to any trading.
Yes, Jarvis works on all options, futures, and stocks. To monitor your security of choice, just set the configurations in your UI menu.

Jarvis is an algorithmic trading software built by trading experts. We've programmed Jarvis' algorithm with a tremendous array of data points to provide the best entry/exit signals on the market. Jarvis' revolutionary achievement is unlocking the ability for anyone to trade at an expert level.
We believe AI integration will only enhance Jarvis' capabilities, and have exciting plans to be revealed at a future time!
In day trading, the trader buys and sells a stock or option on the same day, attempting well-timed trades where every second counts. This form of trading is marked by more frequent trades, higher risk, and exponentially amplified rewards. Those who master the disciplines of day trading while using sophisticated software like Jarvis can earn life-changing profits in a short timeframe.
Traditional trading (also called swing trading and portfolio trading) rewards early entry and long-term asset holding. This conservative approach yields more modest returns over lengthier timeframes.
No. Jarvis is an advanced indicator tool that alerts the user of the optimal time to enter and exit a trade. Users place the trade in their own private brokerage account simultaneously. This means you always have full control of your trade decisions and that your user information remains private and secure.
Absolutely! We often find that new traders have an advantage starting out with Jarvis because they are more open to trusting the software and have fewer habits to unlearn.
Our Discord community is an incredible asset for helping new traders balance the revolutionary effectiveness of Jarvis with the trading disciplines that still matter when building a profitable portfolio.
Jarvis is not a brokerage account where funds are deposited and traded. An individual brokerage account is needed. On our live stream, we use Charles Schawb's version of ThinkOrSwim, which can be downloaded here.
